IsatDock2 Drive
Beam IsatDock2 DRIVE In-vehicle hands-free docking station provides a
high quality semi-permanent installation for the Inmarsat IsatPhone 2.
The docking station has inbuilt echo cancelling and full duplex
technologies to provide superior voice quality and professional
handsfree or privacy calls for various transport application. ISD2
DRIVE MedThe IsatDock2 DRIVE supports the IsatPhone 2 tracking &
alert functionality. Tracking messages can be pre configured to support
periodic reporting, manual position report update via button press, or
the sending of an emergency alert messages all via SMS or SMS to email. The
IsatPhone 2 handset, fits securely in the dock, its features include
phone charging, USB data port, in-built ringer and allows antenna and
power to be permanently connected to the dock ready for use. The
IsatPhone 2 handset is easily inserted and removed by the press of a
button on the top of the dock making it very easy to use away from the
dock when required. IsatDock2 DRIVE also supports the use of an optional active privacy handset, that can be easily added to the IsatDock2 DRIVE. *Beam Docking Stations support Windows XP(SP3), Vista,Win7 Only
cable kits supplied by Beam will operate correctly with the Inmarsat
antennas. Each cable kit has been made to meet the specific
specifications of the antenna and Inmarsat network. The cable kit not
only provides Satellite connectivity but also GPS which is required for
the Inmarsat service to function correctly. In the case of Active
Antennas, then the cable kit also provides power to the antenna as well.
You must use Passive cable kits with the ISD700 and Active cable kits
with the ISD710/715 and 720. Failure to use the correct Beam cables can
damage the antenna, stop the service from performing properly and void
your warranties.
